Inconel 625 is a high-performance nickel-chromium alloy known for its excellent resistance to high temperatures, oxidation, and corrosion. Its composition includes approximately 58% nickel, 22-24% chromium, 3.15-4.15% molybdenum, 0.5-1% columbium, and trace amounts of iron, titanium, and aluminum. The mechanical properties of Inconel 625 include high tensile strength (up to 1030 MPa), excellent fatigue and thermal-fatigue strength, and outstanding weldability. It maintains its strength at temperatures ranging from cryogenic up to 980°C. These properties make it ideal for applications in extreme environments such as aerospace, chemical processing, and marine engineering.
