Duplex Steel Sheet and Plates S31803 have a unique composition, typically consisting of 22-23% chromium, 4.5-6.5% nickel, 3-5% molybdenum, and trace amounts of manganese, nitrogen, and carbon. This composition offers a balanced microstructure of austenite and ferrite, enhancing strength and corrosion resistance. The mechanical properties of S31803 include a tensile strength of 620-850 MPa, yield strength of 450-620 MPa, and elongation of 25-40%. These plates also exhibit high resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion, making them ideal for harsh industrial environments.
